Our Story

Augment Wellness Concord was born out of loss, and a promise.

Within a short time of each other, Emma lost her brother and David lost his father — both to cancer. 

Grief has a way of holding up a mirror, and what David and Emma saw gave them pause. Approaching 50, they had let their own health slip down the list. The weight had crept on, unhealthy habits had settled in, and the years ahead suddenly felt too precious to spend that way. So, they made each other a promise: the second half of their lives would be their healthiest yet.

It started with something simple, and a little uncomfortable. David suggested cold plunges. Emma was skeptical — reluctant, even — but she agreed to try. To their surprise, they both fell in love with it. That first cold plunge became the spark. It led them to explore natural, drug-free ways to boost metabolism, sleep more deeply, and quiet the pain and inflammation they’d learned to live with. 

One healthy habit built on the next, and slowly, everything began to turn around. 

Together, they lost nearly 100 pounds — and gained back their energy, their confidence, and their sense of what’s possible.  Along the way, they realized their community deserved the same access to these therapies — real tools to feel better without reaching for more pills or facing another surgery. That’s why they opened Augment Wellness in Concord.

From cold plunge and contrast therapy to red light, HBOT, infrared sauna, and more, every service here reflects the path David and Emma walked themselves.

What is Augment Wellness?

Augment Wellness is a recovery and wellness studio in Concord, NC, where we combine advanced therapies — red light, salt, hyperbaric oxygen, cold plunge, infrared sauna, and more — to help you feel better in your body. Our members come to us for relief from pain and inflammation, deeper sleep, more energy, and lower stress.

Our hours are:
Monday to Friday:           6:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Saturday-Sunday:           8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Do I need a membership to use your services?

 While memberships offer the best value and perks,
non-members can book services individually or take advantage of day passes (either singles or packs).

Do you offer IV Therapy?

Yes — we’ve partnered with Wellness RevIVal Co to provide mobile IV therapy and IM shots. IV therapy is available on Tuesday and Friday mornings, and IM shots are also available during these hours.
Members and non-members can book IV therapy and enjoy a free 10-minute sauna session afterward to enhance results.

What are Nutrafi Sprays?

Nutrafi Sprays are convenient, oral nutrient sprays designed to support energy, recovery, sleep, focus, and overall wellness. They’re an easy way to supplement your routine between visits, and you don’t need to come into the studio to order — you can have them shipped directly to your door.

What is an InBody scan?

An InBody scan is a quick, non-invasive body composition analysis that measures your muscle mass, body fat percentage, water balance, and other key wellness metrics. It’s a great way to establish a baseline and track your progress over time as you use our therapies and services.

How do I book Peptide Therapy or Weight Loss?

Peptide Therapy and Weight Loss both require a consultation before starting. Please schedule an appointment with us so we can review your goals, health history, and the right protocol for you.

What are the benefits of becoming a member?

Do you offer referral bonuses?

Yes! Members receive a $25 account credit for every friend they refer who becomes a member.

Do you accept HSA or FSA cards?

Yes, we now accept all HSA and FSA cards for eleigible welness services. Many of our recovery, pain-relief, and therapy modalities qualify under most plans. If you are unsure whether a service is covered, please check with your provider.

Are your services safe for everyone?

Most of our services are safe for all. However, we recommend consulting with a healthcare provider if you have any medical conditions or are pregnant.

Is there an age requirement?

Our general age requirement is 14 and up for most services. Younger children are welcome for Halo Salt Therapy and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). If you have questions about a specific service for a younger client, please give us a call.

 

What should I wear or bring?

For most therapies, wear comfortable, loose clothing. For services like the sauna and the cold plunge, bring swimwear. We provide towels and water, but you’re welcome to bring your own. We provide sanitized slides (outside shoes must be removed before entering the “wet
room”).

When should I arrive for my first visit?

Please arrive about 15 minutes early for your first visit so we can give you a quick tour, walk you through your service, and make sure you’re completely comfortable before starting.
